You never had to wonder where you stood with John B. He shot from the hip, didn't sugar coat anything, and I respected and admired him for that. He loved and appreciated all of God's gifts of nature...gardening, wildlife, sunsets, his loyal and beloved dogs. It is such a comfort to know that he is surrounded by those gifts now. I'll always remember that tight hug he gave me 5 days ago and the words he spoke. Love ya Brother-in-Law. You did good work here.

J.B. was my neighbor and more importantly my friend. We took care of each others dogs and traded home cooked meals for high calorie treats (obviously I provided the home cooked meals). He helped me build things and showed me the best way to do it. He was grumpy but I knew he enjoyed passing his knowledge on to me. I told him "it was a pleasure working with you" and his scowl turned to a smile. I miss him already and the view across the street will never be the same. RIP my dear friend.
