John was My Neighbor; and a Good One at that. I enjoyed our Visits, watching LSU Football Games, casual small talk standing outside, his hospitality and contagious smile. I will miss John but his jovial personality will always remain in my fond memories.
Condolences to John's loving Family, Friends and Neighbors.

I did not have the chance to see my cousin often but he was always smiling and joking. Making everyone feel better. I will miss knowing he will not be at any more family gatherings. No matter what I love and miss my family and wish I was more in their lives. Time lost

As I knew John, he was always a pleasure to meet and engage in a conversation no matter the subject. His quiet and un-opposing way of engaging with anyone was most always mixed with a bit of unexpected humor that would bring a smile to your face. His dedication to and the help he extended to family and friends was a huge part of his life to the very end. How could one not love, appreciate, and miss John?
For the family, he is not gone; he is just away for now. He will never be forgotten; he is just away for now. He is in the hearts and souls of those he loved and those who loved him. He lived his life and made an enduring mark. He is not gone; he is just away for now.
Both I and my family will definitely miss John Moore.
With heartfelt sympathy to all,
Carolyn Hanks
