To the Flynn Family, my heartfelt condolences to each of you. Ms. Jonell was a sweet soul, with a kind helpful spirit. She'd volunteer her time at the Zachary Food Pantry with her cheerful smile and helpful, can do attitude. She was a most pleasant person to be around and she will be missed by All of us at The Pantry.

Cherish the moments you shared, may they grant you comfort and peace in your grief.

Lauren and Family,
Jonell was my classmate from SJA, New Orleans. We were in many classes together and graduated in 1958. Your Mom was always special, full of life and vitality. I met her periodically through the years, and I was privileged to meet with her several times after Hurricane Katrina when she landed in the BR area. Regrettably, I could not be at her funeral service but she is certainly held fondly in prayer by me and by the Sisters of St. Joseph. I am glad that Sr. Joan Laplace could be with you all; she brought me your Mom's program. Please know that I offer you my sympathy and will pray for you in your loss. May Jonell rest in God's peace and joy. "Well done, good and faithful servant!" Loving prayers, Sr. Cynthia Sabathier, CSJ

To our dear sweet precious Lauren, Gary, Riley, and Eli;
What a wonderful beautiful loving Mother, Mom, MiMi, you all have been so Blessed to have in your lives for so long, and to love and be loved by.
We too loved her dearly, and remember her sitting and enjoying all the great meals Mr Sal prepared. We really had some great laughter as we shared stories, especially of New Orleans, food, our love for our Grandchildren, etc........
She had a huge heart and an unending, companionate love for all of you and she so appreciated all the wonderful loving things you all did for her and with her.
She was a rock for so many and her laughter was so inspiring and fulfilling to us all.
She will always be remembered by all of us
with the inspirational legacy she left with us all, especially you, Lauren! You were absolutely a very loyal, loving, giving, sweet, daughter and a true friend to your Mom. I know, because we all saw the goodness and the laughter you brought to her and you Blessed us all with, as you brought her greatest loves and joys into this world - her two beautiful grandchildren - Riley and Eli. There is nothing in this world, besides Jesus, that you could have Blessed her with more. Trust me, as the same goes here for us both - all of our Grandchildren are our greatest joys as well as all of our children/spouses, but above all - Jesus! She saw the one person's spirit that dwells inside of you and your beautiful family - Jesus - His amazing light shining in all of you.
Always remember-she will never ever be forgotten - her legacy and her spirit dwells within your hearts and others - forever.
We continue to hold you all tightly in our prayers as God does His work, to bring you all - the comfort, peace, love and all the amazing wonderful gifts of His spirit as He continues to heal your hearts.
We love you all and will always be here for each and every one of you. God Bless you all. ❤✝
