I hadn't talked to him in a while, but I miss him, already. He was always fun to be around. Entertaining, funny, smart, and with motives I never questioned. He taught me more than I can put into words. Even in death he taught me something. He taught me that my favorite people will be gone from this world far too soon. I need to visit them and appreciate them now, or forever regret not spending more time with them. He was a great man, and the world is not the same without him.

I am saddened to hear of Beaver's passing. He was so friendly and always smiling and a true gentleman.
I know he will be greatly missed.

I too will miss Beaver.
As a sitting member of the State Gaming Control Board I was proud to call Beaver as friend. When he represented a Gaming
client before the Board he was always truthful and would sometimes say "O.K. we messed up, we will try to not do it again, what is our punishment?" With an attitude like that how could one be anything but understanding and work with him. Other Attorneys would try to make excuses but not Beaver. A stand up guy who was really honest. May GOD hold you in his arms forever.

I am sad to hear of Beaver's passing. I worked as his legal secretary at Powers, Vaughn & Clegg back in the late 1980's. He was quite the character and working for him was a joy. My prayers to Susan, and the rest of the family for peace and comfort as you navigate through this loss.

Very sad to hear of Beaver's death and sorry I cannot the funeral as I am out of town. Beaver was a real character and we became friends when I was a partner at Moore WAlters Shoenfelt. Our offices were near each other and he would normally start my morning out with one of his jokes. We shared a lot of laughs together over the years. After I left the office in 2002 I did not see him nearly as much but when we ran into each other we always had a laugh as old friends do. You will be missed old friend!

Beaver is gone way too soon. He and I shared the sidelines at BRHS for the Buzzer. Beaver the photographer and I was the editor of the sports page. I never saw Beaver without a smile. He will be missed. RIP God Bless you and your family.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of my friend, Beaver Brantley. When I moved to Baron Rouge to assume the G.M. position at Casino Rouge, Beaver was our attorney. He immediately "took me under his wing", and guided me through the "gaming mine fields" of Louisiana, of which there were many. He remained my mentor, friend and legal protector for the five years I lived and worked there. Beaver, Susan, and Beaver's brother Johnny, could not have been better friends during my tenure in Baton Rouge. Though I eventually moved back to Nevada, Beaver and I kept in regular communication for all these 18 years. I will miss my friend a lot, and never forget his friendship and kindness and great sense of humor. R.I.P Beaver.
