Orelie Coates entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the age of 76. Survived by her daughters, Alicia Bailey and Tanga Coates; sons, Leroy Brisco and Gregory Coates; sisters, Audrey Robertson, Sarah Lewis, Joann Young, Betty Holmes, Veronica Brisco and Katrina Howard; brothers, Larry Brisco, Joe Ruffin, Will Dixon and Ray Molex; grandchildren, Carlos Bailey, Jr., Chad Bailey, Dominique Brisco, Mikiah Brisco, Talisha Lee, Leandreia Coates, Gregory Coates II, and Nonde Scott. Preceded in death by her husband, Leander Coates; parents, Henry and Elnora Brisco; grandson, Christopher Bailey. Visitation Friday, April 9, 2021 9:00 am until religious service at 10:00 am, Hall's Celebration Center, 9348 Scenic Hwy., Baton Rouge, LA. Pastor Gregory Coates officiating.
