A flood of wonderful memories came back to me when a friend sent me the obituary regarding Brad. I was the supervisor and general manager of the McFarland Recreation and Park District, and collaborated with Brad in running many cross country and track events. As an ardent backpacker myself, I loved swapping backpacking stories with Brad, and he invited me to Rotary in Wasco, to speak on my adventures in the Himalayas. Brad was always even-keeled no matter how much chaos was encircling us at these competitive events, and I learned from him that quality of maintaining inner calmness regardless of the storm raging outside. And of course who cannot forget his storytelling and great sense of humor. So many memories...Rest in Peace my dear friend and colleague.

I want to give Mr Tomasinis family my condolences. I want to tell you that he was my cross country coach when i was 10 years old about 40 years ago. He was the best coach that anyone could have. He was so caring toward me that he made sure I was able to participate in any race. He would pick me up for practice and made sure I had the right shoes and clothing for the meets. He knew my family was low income and could not afford to do all those things for me. If i remember correctly I was one of the runners he took to state. He was the greatest person any child could have as a mentor. He helped me believe that i could accomplish anything in life and get out of poverty . I was able to graduate from college and obtain a bachelor degree thanks to his encouragement. I thank God he was part of my life when i lived in Wasco. May the Lord give you peace . Love always Nora Morin Siller
