We were deeply saddened to hear of Iona's passing. She was my baby sitter when growinup in Spreckels. May you all find strength and love with each other to deal with your loss. ''

Iona was such a happy, vivacious lady. Growing up in Spreckels I recall our moms often getting together for coffee, dessert, & LOTS of laughter, mostly from Iona. To make those times special for us kids Iona often showed up with new crayons & coloring books. The last time I saw Iona was at my mother's memorial service.
If we listen carefully we might hear her laughing as I'm sure she, Gracie, Louise, Helen, and others are visiting over coffee right now.
My condolences to her children.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend, Iona. We were best friends all through our high school years. After we graduated, we were almost inseparable. She was living in Spreckels, and I had moved to Bolsa Knolls so she would come and spend a week with me, and then I would go spend a week with her. We were both looking for jobs, but we enjoyed our free time. I had the honor of having Iona and Lonnie attend my 80th birthday celebration. Soon after that, I moved to Roseville, and didn't have the opportunity to see her again. I have so many beautiful and funny memories of Iona, and I will never forget them. Sending my love and deepest sympathy to her family. Kay Whitworth
