Anne and Family...
My thoughts and prayers go with this for you all.
Tony was a dear friend and co staff member of John both at Damascus and Fed Uni...He was there for John when John got sick and there for me along that journey. I know the loss of not being able to do so many things post retirement but learned to savour the special things we did do when we could.
May the special memories of Tony help you along
the way...i know John will be there for him
Fond Regards...joan brick

Dear Tony,

In 1991, you told me I was "the master of the obvious " in my English yr 12 class with you.
Nothing like that sentence ( since then ) has driven me to requestion, re draft and rethink my first response ......
You gave me critical thinking, reflection and the art of drafting so as to emerge the person and the point of view that I wanted to be seen as..
I knew very little in yr 12, but I realised you were a vast literary knowledge, and that even in the culmination of my education, I would forever be a novice compared to your understanding of life as we experienced in literature.
