Robert "Bob" Reichart, 67, Penfield, formerly of Bloomsburg, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Born June 8, 1947, in Danville, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary Cole Reichart. He married Linda Delp Reichart Dec. 30, 1991. She survives in Penfield.
Robert was in the Army were he served two tours in Vietnam; first tour with 17th field hospital and second tour with 67th Medical group, having earned the USARV citation.
After serving in the U.S. Army he excelled in the insurance sales industry.
Robert loved sports. Penn State Nittany Lions was his favorite team and he enjoyed the Pittsburgh Pirates.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW in DuBois and a member of the American Legion and the Penfield Volunteer Firemen.
Robert lived most of his life in Bloomsburg.
Robert is also survived by two daughters, Stephanie and Suzanne; and three stepsons: Michael and his wife, Cindy Seder; Timothy and his wife, Laura Seder; and David Seder; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Dale (Cynthia) Brotzman; and a special cousin, Tomas Mertz.
At Robert's request there will not be any services.
Memorial donations may be made to Penn Highlands DuBois Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home in Penfield.
