Antonio Nuno Jr.

Indio - Antonio "Tony" Nuno Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Indio, California on November 9, 2020. He was 52 years old. Antonio was born October 22, 1968 to Antonio Sanchez Nuno and Rosario Davalos Nuno. Tony had a contagious smile and greeted everyone with a big love hug. His beautiful heart was true and pure. He had a great love for music especially the songs of Selena. Family gatherings were a favorite time as he could show off his dance moves. He will truly be missed by all. He is survived by his mother Rosario Nuno, eight siblings, and 21 nieces and nephews: brother Mauricio of Indio and his children Antonio Nuno, Leticia Suarez, Morris Nuno, Fernando Nuno and Esteban Lara; Sister Martha (Tony) Franco of Indio and her children Erika Obst, Tony Franco Jr., Brian Franco, Melissa Franco and Melanie Franco; brother George of North Carolina and his children Diandra Nuno and George Nuno Jr.; brother Richard (Tamara) and his son Richard Nuno Jr.; sister Leticia Watson of San Diego and her daughter Shelby Watson; brother Gus (Susie) of Palm Desert and his children Kiesha Nuno, Tianna Nuno and Hayley Nuno; brother Hector (Nanci) of Bermuda Dunes and his children Hector Nuno Jr. and Monique Hart; sister Veronica (Eusebio "Baldy") Canero of Indio and her children Michael Ramirez-Canero and Matthew Canero; as well as 35 grand-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Antonio Nuno. We mourn the loss of Tony but we rejoice to know he is at peace with our Lord. Due to COVID-19 restrictions our family will be having private services. We thank everyone for their prayers, loving thoughts, words of encouragement, and sharing their wonderful memories of our beloved Tony.
