Just read in the GW Med Magazine today that Bart passed away. We were roommates our freshman year at GW & worked in Maine that summer. We shared many good memories together. Last time seeing Bart was several years ago, when he stopped by our home in FL after bone fishing. Penny & I send our thoughts & prayers to you and your children. He lived his life to the fullest and will be missed by so many ! Dick

Very sorry to learn of Bart's passing. He was a good doctor, always a gentleman, and a darn good with a fly rod. Be well and God bless.

Dear Sharon, Paige, and Carter. Sue here. Worked for Dr. A along with Doris during the mid 80's until the early 90's. So saddened to hear about Dr. Apfelbaum. I have thought of him often throughout the years. He ran a very busy practice and I learned so much from him. I have always been grateful for that opportunity. Doris and me enjoyed cross country skiing with him every year at the tram. I also enjoyed the many lunches he treated us to and the great conversations we had. He enjoyed his yearly trek to Christmas Island for bone fishing and of course his domino games at the Palm Springs Club. He was very proud of Paige and Carter and often bragged of Sharon's accomplishments as well. Dear Dr. A, I will never forget you. Thank you for your humor, your generosity, and all the nice memories that are too many to list here. Love, Suzy.
