My husband and I used to watch Chris play at Daniels Broiler in 2009/10 and we would sit around the piano bar. We loved hearing him sing. We bought a CD and we play it every now and again to bring back the memories. This morning I googled his name to see if he has any other CD's out or just any information on his whereabouts. I was shocked to see the obituary. Thanks for all the great memories Chris!

Maria,
I met and became acquainted with your Dad in fall 2010. We connected and remained in touch throughout his travels/travails back to the east coast....and then for a while when he moved back to CA. I knew about his first grandchild; made several attempts to remain in touch....he was so proud of you, his daughter, and such an even more proud gramps. I didn't know about the second child..we lost touch then. Because I've been unable to connect with him for quite a long time, I became concerned and went on the internet to search.

I moved from Whidbey Island in August this year (where I'd met
your father)...am on the east coast.

He was a sweet man, had a beautiful, to me, incredible voice;
and much talent.

I am sorry for your loss. and mine. but I am happy that he came into my life.
Aloha,
diane ahuna
