Mr. Forrest was one of my favorite teachers during my time at Indio High School. He was an awesome teacher and a kind soul. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences go out to his family.

When I was a sophmore at Indio High, Mr. Forrest and myself had a cat and mouse game going on. I discovered the girls liked boys with long hair. The school rules did not allow it. So, between second and third periods I had to get by Mr. Forrest who stood by the library and the contest was on. He, trying to get to me to write me up, and I eluding him through the crowds of kids...I later got the hair cut to work my first job. Years after Indio High , I met my former teachers and discovered they were pretty good people. And like Mr. Forrest, easy to talk to. Rest in Peace Good Sir.
