Kathy was a joyous Christian who lived a life of teaching and serving others. A disciple of Jesus Christ, she enjoyed and had a passion for living out her faith. She was a great mentor for others and dedicated to continuing to learn and share her knowledge, experience and giving spirit.
She was inspiring and fun to be around. And she was authentic. We will miss her but keep her in our memories as a Christian who loved and lived in the context of what she believed. Her legacy will always be in our hearts and minds as we continue to learn from her. A teacher for all time.

My dear Aunt Kathie, the ability to converse on any topic and always made me feel special. We always had one funny story that I will share. You see she taught at a cross-town school back before cell phones you know. Schools had payphones and kids would get the numbers of other schools' payphones. Well don't ya know I got caught pestering the school one day. Apparently her school's phone was right outside her classroom. Love and miss you always. Mike
