Truly a unique and wonderful woman and someone I am very proud to have called my dear friend! She will be greatly missed by so many lives here. The deepest condolences to her family and many friends

Nate,
I am sending prayers to you and your family.
I know Lilliane was the light of your life. I remember the brightness in your eyes when you spoke of her.

Very very sorry to read about Lily...as she was known to me when I shopped at I Magnin.

I was much younger but no divide between us when we shared our stories. My being a first generation American my Mother escaped Hitler from Poland in 1934 only with her parents.

Everyone else perished...

Because of the five languages my Mother spoke, I too can converse in French, and understand Yiddish and German
..making my connection to Lily so much better when we met .
I can guess that your dear Mother is hanging with my Mother talking about Lindy's Deli in NY and my Mother's HS Tilden in Flatbush competing in swim meets...
These women are flames that never burn out in their children's and Grandchildren's lives.

Shoah will keep their mutual stories told for all time.. but those stories of these Mom's hint that they were the strictest, no nonsense, blunt, funny women who made you eat every morsel becasue "Children were starving in Africa!"
