I remember Mrs. Schiffer when I joined the Junior League in 2001. She was such a wonderful example of class and humility. It was privilege to know her. Rest in Peace.

God has just received a lovely lady. Susan was a dear friend and gentle person. While she is no longer with us, she will always hold a special place in our hearts. We were blessed to know her and call her our friend.

We have nothing but fond memories of Susan. We pray for you at this most difficult time. We are out of town during Susan's service but our thoughts are with you. God bless, Liz and Jim Davis

Susan was full of high spirit and great fun, I so loved her smile as a young teenager meeting her for the first time, I truly thought she was just simply very cool, esp for a Mom! She always carried herself with grace and dignity, through the good and bad times. It wasn't until my adulthood that I realized how truly remarkable she was in so many ways. And don't ask me to explain this, but to this day I think of her when I drive, because on many trips to the family farm, I noticed she drove the family car with her right hand and thumb at the base of the steering wheel, that was it, and I sensed she had such control with the weight of her thumb, and I was in awe And thus, this is the way I drive to this day, don't tell my Mom!

My warmest thoughts go out to the entire family, I know she will be deeply missed!

Sincerely,
Maree Healy
