Morris Littrel Jr.
Henderson, KY
Morris Littrel Jr., 89 of Henderson, KY passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital of Evansville, IN. Born June 24, 1928 to parents Morris and Birtie (Cates) Littrel, Morris was retired from several self-owned businesses, including service stations, Morris Littrel Trucking, and Tractor/Wrecker Services. He was a Mason and member of Bennett Memorial United Methodist Church. Mr. Littrel served in the Army and was a member of the Old Tyme Auto Club of Evansville. He held the honorable title of Kentucky Colonel and was a member of the TPA and of the Henderson City Planning Commission. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Leah (Berger) Littrel; and brother, James Littrel. He is survived by four children, Melody Harris of Indianapolis, IN, Valerie Watson (Tom) of Evansville, Elaine Littrel of Evansville and Eileen Fugate (Tom) of Evansville; a sister, Joyce Riley (Ralph) of Henderson; three brothers, David Littrel of Henderson, Bobby Littrel (Judy) of Henderson and Larry Littrel of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren, Jennifer Miller of Indianapolis, Chris Watson (Maggie) of Murray, KY, Riley Fugate (Christina) of Evansville, Daniel Harris of Edwardsville, IL, Leah Fugate of Evansville and Rachael Biggerstaff (Seth) of Quantico, VA; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Bennett Memorial United Methodist Church of Henderson with Rev. Wayne Burt officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 12 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson and on Tuesday from 9 until the funeral hour at the church. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens immediately following funeral service. Online condolences may be left at www.tomblinsonfuneralhome.com.
