Pat Mabry
Henderson, Ky.
Patricia Ann (Hawkins) Mabry passed away January 8, 2018, at St. Vincent's Hospital. She was born August 29, 1946, in Henderson, Kentucky, to Thomas Hawkins, Jr., and Virginia (Bunch) Hawkins. Pat grew up in Niagara and was a member of Niagara United Methodist Church. She graduated from Henderson County High School in 1964. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from Western Kentucky University, as well as her Rank 1 certification. She taught third and fourth grade at Niagara Elementary School for more than twenty years before retiring in 1998. Pat loved shopping for herself and others, and she was an avid basketball fan. She also enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders on her patio and the waves on the beach in Gulf Shores.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Glenn, of Henderson; daughter, Jennifer (Mabry) Perry, and her husband, Jerry, of Paducah, Kentucky; brother, Jim Tom Hawkins, and his wife, Evonne, of Versailles, Kentucky; niece, Kristi (Hawkins) Hall, her husband, Matt, and their two daughters, of Lexington, Kentucky; an aunt; and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Niagara United Methodist Church. Bro. Rick Nollmann will officiate. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Niagara United Methodist Church Construction Fund.
