BILL KASSEL On Monday, February 22, 2021. Bill Kassel, pharmacist, sailor, philanthropist and friend to everyone he met. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was beloved by all who knew him for his sense of humour, joy and kindness. Beloved husband of Carol. Loving father and father-in-law of Adam and Jennifer Bookman, and Dana Bookman and Conor O'Neill. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Alan and Heather, Ted, and Bob and May, Howard and Rita and Allen and Wanda. Devoted grandfather of Ryan, Toby, Gabriel, Nathan, and Noa Rae. And loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. A Family graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Zoom shiva visit at https://calendar.x.ai/billkassel-shiva/15minutevisit. We are deeply saddened to hear of Bill's passing.Bill has sponsored a hockey team in our league for over 40 years. Recently we named the trophy we present to our tyke division champions "The Kassel's Cup" in honor of his years of support. He will be missed by many in Mimico.

Our sincere condolences to Mrs. Kassel and family on the passing of Mr. Kassel. My son and I worked on Mr. Kassel's boat at the Island Yacht Club for many years and it was a pleasure to work for such a kind and gentle person. He will be sadly missed!

Mr Kassel was the best. He was a real good guy and will be so missed. He phoned us at the farm to ask if Sandy and I were okay during covid and if we needed anything to let him know. He was a wonderful person. Rest in Paradise our dear friend.
