Today We Celebrate Brenda Joyce Cairns Brenda Joyce Cairns was born on this day in 1945 and although she is no longer physically with us we are constantly reminded of both her spirit and her great influence in all of our lives. My Mother, Cecile Flute (also deceased) worked with "Mimi" (as I knew her) at Eaton's Don Mills way back when. When I was young, I used to pass through the store on my way home from school, and she was always very kind to me. May she rest in peace.
