It is very difficult to believe that Catherine has gone. In my mind's eye I still see her exercising in the street and parks at a very fast pace. I loved listening to her poems and stories. I will also miss her for the films she recommended, her favourite directors and her immense knowledge of the arts. There was something mystical about the way Catherine thought, perhaps it was her Hungarian ancestry. She was a beautiful person both inside and out who died too soon.
Rest in peace Catherine,
Linda

I will miss Cathy's friendship, wit and wisdom. We were friends and colleagues for more than 35 years. She was my mentor when I began working with her and became one of my closest friends. Through her, I met my husband's cousin in Montreal, who introduced me to my husband, Laszlo, some 30 years ago. Cathy was one of a kind - always true to herself and her values, and devoted to her family. She was intelligent, cultured, classy and extremely loyal. I will miss her immensely.
