We were sad to hear of Doug's passing and send you all our deepest condolences, and much love. Clearly, he will be greatly missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him. You were all so blessed to have shared his life.

I mourn the passing of Doug Wright. He was a great Canadian and a giant in Post Secondary Education in Canada. He was a truly civil Civil Engineer, with a wonderful sense of humour. He has been a source of inspiration for me both at U. Waterloo and beyond. It had been my privilege and honour to have had the opportunity to get to know him. Ill cherish the memories of my various exchanges with him. He lived a meaningful life of impact and will be remembered fondly. - Amit Chakma
