IRENE TSANG December 3, 1946 - March 31, 2021 Irene's family is heartbroken to announce her passing on March 31, 2021 at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto in her 75th year. She passed away peacefully in the presence of her husband and son. Irene was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Jean Seto, her sister, Eva, her brother Wayne. She was the beloved wife of Walter Tsang for 56 years, whom she deeply loved. They met in Toronto in 1964. Irene will always be loved and missed by her only child, her son Gregory. They were and will always be very close. Irene will also be missed by her sisters, Mabel and Mary-Anne, her nephews and nieces, Jonathan, Matthew, Pauline, Ryan, Nicole, Samantha. Irene was an avid reader and enjoyed travelling. She has a passion for politics and is a retired Human Resources Officer. Her favourite destination, among the many, was the Gold Room at the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac, in which they always arranged for her favourite room. She felt very welcome and well treated there. The Irene Tsang Foundation will be providing donations to the charities who treated her during her illness. The family would like to thank Mount Sinai Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, St. Michael's Hospital and Toronto General Hospital. A private funeral service will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery by invitation only.
