Dear Ivan and his family were very close family friends to my parents from the time they lived in Budapest. I had the privilege of knowing Ivan since I was a child. Ivan was a very kind, caring, compassionate and intelligent man, who enjoyed life to the fullest. Ivan was a real gentleman with that old European charm. I am grateful that he was a part of my life for so many years and for the times we had together. My partner and I will miss him dearly. Our sincerest condolences go out to Yuki and Ken. Much Love, Paul and Brian.

A very talented, caring, and generous man who gave years of love, advice and support to his family and many friends. A person with strong personal beliefs, who loved nothing more than to debate his ideas with others. He loved his role as mentor, teacher, and opened the minds of most he came in contact with as he shared his love for art, music, history, and literature.

He will be missed.
