MARGARET JOAN (ANDERSON) ARNOLD September 25, 1941 - June 3, 2021 Margaret's family is overwhelmed with sadness at her death at Sunnybrook Hospital from complications from her recent diagnosis of Myelodysplastic Syndrome. She is already deeply missed by Stephen, her husband of 58 years; their children, Andrew (Pauliina Saarinen), Scott (Jennifer Worts), and Wendy (Mike List); and her much loved grandchildren, Maia, Meaghan and Cammie List, and Anderson Arnold. Margaret devoted her whole life to being the most loving, caring, compassionate and supportive person possible for her husband, children (and their friends), her entire family and her countless dear friends near and far. Margaret loved her early life in the Town of Mount Royal before her move with Steve to Toronto where they have lived on the same street for the last 53 years, spending the winter months since Steve's retirement at their sanctuary in Pelican Bay, Florida. She was a volunteer with a number of organizations, but was especially dedicated to her service and many friends made with the Women's Auxiliary at Sick Kids Hospital. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Sunnybrook, especially Drs. Lee Mozessohn and Shannon Goddard for their care and compassion. Donations in Margaret's memory may be made to the Women's Auxiliary Volunteers at Sick Kids (SickKidsWAV.org) or to a charity of your choice. Due to COVID-19, there will be no service, but if you wish, please send your favourite Marg stories to MargArnoldMemories@gmail.com for her grandchildren to enjoy down the road.

I remember Marg fondly. We spent several winters skiing at Caledon as a group of women friends. We laughed, had fun, shared stories and Marg , with a ready smile, always offered wise counsel, when needed. Marg had a heart of gold and was a role model of caring and volunteerism. Family was her #1 priority.
I send my heartfelt condolences to Steve and the family.

I totally understand the complete sadness for the Arnold family to lose Marg. Marg was such a lovely warm person who had the beautiful gift to smile and engage and show interest in others. I remember her fondly from many social events at Osler where Steve was my law partner.

As a kid growing up alongside our good friends the Arnolds, Marg's big heart was on display in everything she did. My first awareness of the concept of volunteering and charitable work was hearing about Marg's work with Sick Kids. She has been a huge influence on me and a giant part of my life. I will think of her often and with great fondness for the rest of my days. The Hawkins are sending so much love to the Arnolds.
