To all of the family from our family, our sincere sympathy. Don and I really enjoyed seeing Mary because she was always so vivacious and fun. As mum got older, Mary would often drop over and they would chat and laugh for hours while we stayed in the background enjoying their stories. That is when we used to enjoy quality time with her without the rest of the family, which was a different kind of fun. We missed seeing her once my mum died She was such a good friend to mum, a friendship that lasted from post war through challenges for both of them and a heck of a lot of fun. They both lived long and made a point of enjoying life. A good example for us all.

I'm so very sorry to hear this, Frederik. As you know I had the privilege of meeting her and we made a memorable visit to the Camden Roundhouse in London to see that show 'Stomp'. It was an energetic, positive, empathetic show - just like your Mum. May she rest in peace. Jeremy
