My sincere condolences to the De Bane family, especially to his brother Joseph. I had met the Senator only occasionally and always came away the better for our brief encounters.

May he rest in everlasting peace and happiness.

I came to know Senator De Bane in Lebanon since 2005. The met him several times in Ottawa with my family.

The most vivid memory I keep of this Great Man is that of a most humble heart, and most honest and loyal person.

May he rest in peace. He will be missed.
