A true gentleman, who cared for every child with compassion and respect. Always a smile for staff and patient. He worked tirelessly to better the lives of children with brain injury and helped bring paediartic neurosurgery to International Renound. Working in the early days of diagnostic imaging of the brain I know how difficult it was. So much relied on a physician's diagnostic skills. Neurosurgery and radiology worked as a team. Nice to be a small part of that team working Dr. Humphreys. A wonderful physician a caring person who has jioned his bride. Condolences to your family

My condolences to you all on the loss of such a lovely man, an excellent surgeon, and a caring, empathetic and clever doctor. He was a colleague at Sickkids, a leader in the hospital and in the medical community. He was also fun, and funny and kind.
As an anaesthesiology staff, I was always delighted to see his face over the drapes, and knew that the work might be difficult but the surgeon would not.
