STUART RUSSELL LAMERS Stu's beautiful and kind heart peacefully left us with a final dose of love on Sunday May 30, 2021 at the age of 82, surrounded by close family. He will be dearly missed by family and friends everywhere, especially by the love of his life Susan, whom he cherished beyond words. Their love story is outstanding and immeasurable, and began in their youth, meeting on the docks of Juniper Island, Stony Lake. He is sadly missed by his two children Wendy (Bill), and Michael (Simone) who absolutely adored him, and his sister Judy. His grandchildren Kate and Leah lovingly called him "Poppy", and he was treasured by Elyse, Kaimon, Davis, Jackson, and great-grandson Sloan. Stu truly valued his lifelong friendships and held his extended family of cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews close to his heart. Stu had a presence that was larger than life, with an enormous inviting smile, illuminating a gentle giant and an extremely kind soul. His countless tales and life lessons were his gift to us, along with an abundance of laughter and love. He was the music that encouraged us all to dance, reinforcing "Life is not a dress rehearsal". We are hoping to celebrate Stu's life some time in the future when we can hug each other tightly and dance freely to the music of his heart. Fondly remember and share the gift of Stu's stories, as he loved us all so much. Online condolences at www.koprivataylor.com

Wendy, Michael and Sue - I am saddened to hear of Stu's passing. I have many fond memories of hanging out with the you all at the cottage on Stoney Lake. Wendy and I were great friends for all those summers and I loved staying over and sleeping in their cute bunkies they had. We spent long summer days with all my "city" friends on the lake. I feel very fortunate to have had Stu in my life and was greatly surprised to reconnect with Stu when I worked at GE. He was the wire salesman for us and visited the Peterborough site regularly. It was so nice to catch up with Stu during those visits; to see his huge smile and booming voice again was a treat.
My condolences to the family. May you find joy in the memories of a great man and peace in knowing Stu is at rest.

Sending love and caring thoughts to Susie, Michael and Wendy and families. We’ve lost one of the biggest brightest sunshine’s in our lives! Favourite memories go way back to late teens when Stu would entertain us all till the smiles stuck on our faces just to remember the songs and his musical talent and personality plus. He made our hearts sing too.
Looking forward to the time we can all celebrate his life together.
Sincerely
Susan Armstrong and families
