I've known Jack, and Doris since my childhood. Doris and my mother worked together at the fledgling Cornell Federal Credit Union in the 60's. I have many fond memories of the two of them. They attended my wedding in Dryden in the early 80's and, Jack became friends with my son, Eric Clark, over the past 6 years. I was saddened to hear of his passing, and send my deepest condolences to his family.
With deepest respect,
Carol Griffin

Aunt Doris and Uncle Jack... What a kind and classic couple. Always quick to laugh and always dressed so beautifully. If there is one hope at this time it's that you are reunited. I so remember hearing Uncle Jack many, many times saying "Okay Doris, let's get going" as she participated in the forever Markham tradition of taking an hour and a half to say goodbye and actually leave a party! You took such good care of her Uncle Jack.... thanks for being part of our crazy family!

We were so sad to hear that Uncle Jack had passed away. We will dearly miss him and always looked forward to receiving his cards over the holidays. I will always remember him telling the story of when I was very little and the Markham's would get together at Grandpa Markham's house for Xmas evening. Uncle Jack would say that I would run around the rooms flat out non stop until Santa showed up. I also remember the times we were able to come up from Charlotte to visit him and talking about our Yankees. Uncle Jack has a special place in our hearts and we will miss him very much.
