I was saddened to learn of Ken's passing. He was our family doctor for at least 30 years. I loved his kindness, compassion and level headedness. He helped my family through many childhood illnesses and accidents throughout the years. When my husband, Gordon, passed away suddenly of a heart attack, Ken came up to the hospital, even though he was retired, to talk to the doctors and to console myself and my family. That's the kind of man he was. Lorrie and Ken invited me to their lovely home on the lake shortly after Gordon's death. I will always remember him with gratitude.

So, so sorry to hear of Dr. Felch's passing. I always loved him and felt he was the epitome of a true country doctor who practiced medicine for all the right reasons. Growing up with Kim as my friend, I remember several times when patients dropped off bread or a pie as a means of payment for the loving health care Dr. Felch provided for which they could not afford to pay monetarily. He had a true heart of compassion and a witty sense of humor. I have always thought of him with the highest regard over the years as my own doctor, as my best friend's father, and as the doctor who first cared for my own children. My heart goes out to all of you. It was such a pleasant surprise to see him at the Boatyard Grill just a year or two ago. He was the same kind-hearted man I always remembered...always encouraging and always with a sparkle in his eye and a smile on his face. Would love to reconnect with you, Kim! You can email me at [email protected] Love to all of the Felch family.

Lorrie,

Gisela and I want to extend our sympathy to you and your family. We will always remember the years we spent at Cornell and the how the both of you went out of your way to may us (as newlyweds miles from our families) feel at home, treat our illnesses and provide lodging our last few days in Ithaca. Our thoughts and prays are with you and wish you peace and comfort in the time to come.

Lorrie and family Dr Felch was an amazing man. My fondest memories are of the two of us shoveling snow from our adjoining offices early morning before patients came in. He always had a kind word to say to everyone he encountered My love and prayers to you Fran. Yaeger
