Dear Sue, Richard and the entire family,

You may remember me as one of Peg's gals from Ithaca College. I had the extreme honor of visiting with Peg on a weekly basis while in school and continuing our relationship beyond just my four years. Getting to know Peg and learn about her amazing life and experiences was truly wonderful. Peg had a passion for life and happiness that exuded through her and became infectionous to those around her. She was always kind, loving and generous in all that she did. Although I only knew her for the last seven years of her life, her fierce optimism and pride for the life she lived was always apparent. People tend to think that spending time with the elderly is a gift to them, but truthfully, she was a gift to me. I loved her very much and knowing how happy and fulfilled she was with her life gives me great comfort. Peg always told me to find joy and spread it, and I hope to honor her by truly living by those words.

My deepest apologies for your loss,
Alexa

Dear Sue,
I'm so sorry to hear of Mom's passing but glad you were always able to be there for her.
I so enjoyed her short stay at Longview getting to know her a little bit.
You are a true tribute to her well done "Mom" job.
Prayers for your family.
Love,
Marcia

Condolences from the GIAC Senior Program (a group that Peg was instrumental in setting up several decades ago). Peg was great presents in the program for many years and an inspiration for her determination to remain active and involved in the community. She had a great spirit and it was a privilege to get to know her over the past several years...she will be missed.

Sue, the life story that I just read is a wonderful tribute to your mother. My mom and yours worked at Cornell together during the 1960s. Your mother made so many important contributions to Ithaca. So I am thinking of you today and wishing you well.
