Emily and Family, I was so sorry to hear about Max passing just a couple of weeks after Dick. May you have peace in knowing that he is in a better place. Sincerely, Fran Stoughton

Em and all you "kids" that he left behind...you had the best they come...he always had a smile and a story to tell..."from here to Midland" I can hear him say? We so enjoyed our friendship with Max~he was one of a kind. Sorry we couldn't be there...but there just are too many miles between us now... Prayers for you Emily adjusting to the love of your life being away. Just know he is not suffering and is whole again making a place for you all to join him...when your time comes. (((Hugs)))

Dear Emily(Peppy), Carol, Eleanor and I planned to come up today, but the snow scared us. There are so many memories of you and "Mickey" in all our school years. It is hard to believe we are in our eighties now. Max left you a wonderful legacy of your family and memories. I will be thinking of you in this time of grief and adjustment. Sincerely, Sabra
