The loss of a loved one is always hard. But the grief is easier knowing that a loved one lived a Christian life.If her family and friends emulate her life, all will be with her in heaven one glorious day.

To The Parham Family
This is my final goodbye to cousin Hildred Hoosier Parham:

An Angel name Hildred held my hand, wiped away my tears and helped me to understand that our time on earth is brief, and there is a lesson to be learned. Know that each precious day God gives us another page to turn in the chapter of life that will be full of memories, great times of joy, some with tears, triumps and defeats through every passing year.

I can hear my cousin Hildred saying to her children I have an unconditional love for my children, and I will always be by your side, and for my dear husband Charlie for 60 years, I love you for loving me and producing the beautiful children we produced, that produced my grand and great children that blessed me on this life journey. My life on earth was beautiful.

I smile as I think of cousin Hildred, as she was well known for her beautiful and warm smile and I know that when no one else would listen, in cousin Hildred would listen and you could confide within her and feel the peace of the Lord within.

With gentle words of wisdom, Hildred led her family and so many others on their way down the path of righteousness and if ever one would stray she was faithful to God doing God's work with her guiding light.

Hildred saw the light in everyone and gave with no regrets and always from her beautiful heart.

Angels come in many forms, to many, Hildred is one of those Angels, as I truly can say that with some of the pages I turn in my own personal life and going into my own woman and motherhood Hildred was big and major part in some of my darkest days where she gave time and love to me and made me feel like I was one of her own beautiful children.

I say to the entire Parham family: Charlie Jr, Katherine, Charles, John, Cinder, Ricky, Debra, Buddy cousin Regina, Cassandra, Louis and all the beautiful grand and great grandchildren as you stroll down the wonderful and precious memory lane of Hildred Hoosier Parham, thank God for the most priceless of all treasures that she was a woman of God and knew God as her Savior.

Another Chapter has began full of grace and glory for Hildred. God has called Hildred to his heavenly home, part of his great plan, although it may be hard, we all must understand that Heaven is promised to all of us if only we believe, and Hildred Hoosier Parham was a believer.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
