BARBARA DENNY
MILHOLIN

WINTER HAVEN - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Barbara Denny Milholin, on Friday, November 6, 2020. She was 85.
Barbara was born in Plainfield, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lloyd W. Milholin. Barbara was the much loved mother of Mark W. Milholin (Olivia), Michael P. Milholin, Sheila J. Koch (Glenn), Valarie A. Satterfield (Jeffery), and Terri L. Milholin (daughter-in-law). She was the proud grandmother to Matthew (Rebecca), Hope, Faith, Chloe, and Christian, and was overjoyed to become a great-grandmother to Cali, Matthew and Rebecca's baby girl. Barbara was the sister of Margaret Brewer, David Denny, and the late Elizabeth Thompson and James Denny.
Barbara was a devout Catholic and a long time member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Winter Haven. She was a 'prayer warrior.' If you're reading this, there is a good chance that she has said a rosary or ten for you! She was always very willing to pray for others, and enjoyed doing it.
As a child, Barbara dreamed of becoming a nurse. She was often caught tearing clothes into strips to use as bandages for her 'patients.' She worked hard and achieved her dream of becoming a nurse. It was a career that brought her much happiness.
A private celebration of Barbara's life was held with her family. Greatly loved and dearly missed, she will forever be in our hearts.

I loved Barbara like a sister.
She had a zest for God, life, laughter and her family.
We were good friends for many years and had great laughter together plus as true friends do, we readjusted each others thinking lovingly & upbuilt each other thru trials. It is difficult to lose a good & dear friend like her. I truly miss her and adore her loving family that I have had the joy of sharing many occasions with and experience first hand their love of neighbor, God, friends, family & community that, Barbara & Lloyd instilled in them. Their heritage is evident even in their Grandchildren. Thank you to a loving family for caring so lovingly for your parents -Barbara & Lloyd during their times of need. She is missed.
With Love,
