My dear first cousin whom I haven't seen in many years. We were very close when we were growing up,they lived in Lenoir City, Tn. and we lived in Loudon about fifteen miles apart. Many fond memories> It's good to know she is resting in the Lord. Love and prayers for the family.Ramona June Best Howell

I only met Edie in October 2017 at my late mother's (Martha Curry) service. They were in the church's circle group for many years. I fondly recall hearing Edie's cheerful, pleasant messages on our voice mail; I could "feel" her smile in each message. Then I met this lovely lady in person, recognizing her sweet, caring voice, which lifted me up in my time of mourning. You will be sorely missed.

I was privileged to have Edie as my neighbor and friend. Edie always had a kind word for everyone. She was generous and kind. She will be missed greatly.

I remember my brothers having "Miss Edie" for Church nursery and Sunday School classes. When they were very little, they called her "Seed-die" instead of Miss Edie. They loved her so much. Thank you, "Seedie" for all the love you gave them.

A dear friend. You could say we were partners of sorts, helping set up for the church's Contemporary Service when it was first started and for a few years thereafter. I never heard an unkind word from her; she was always the sweetest, loveliest lady. She and Don were the epitome of a loving couple and family. We didn't see much of each other the past few years, but when we did, if I attended the Contemporary Service or sat at "the table" at Phoenix, it was as though we had never been apart and she was just as sweet and kind as always. I will miss her terribly, as all will, but her deep faith has guided her to Heaven to be with Don who has been waiting patiently for his beloved. Now she will be on the wings of the angels watching over her loved ones forever.

My sincere condolences to her family because I know you will miss her. Take heart that she will always be with you, and because of her faith and dedication to our Lord I'm sure He has prepared a special place for her.

God Bless you, Edie, and I love you and will miss you. Thank you for the blessing of your friendship.

Mrs. Ward was a very sweet, southern lady. I will miss her.
