WINTER HAVEN - Emmett F. Varnadoe, born January 31, 1937 in Lake Hamilton, Florida, passed away on January 19, 2018 in Winter Haven, Florida by his family's side.
Emmett is survived by his wife Aleene Varnadoe, son Roger Varnadoe and his wife Cindy Varnadoe, sisters Betty Wiley and Sharon Thomas. Emmett was a grandfather of 4 and a great grandfather of 9. Emmett was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Gladys Varnadoe, his son Emmett Steven Varnadoe, brother Ervin Varnadoe and sister Sarah Neil.
Emmett loved fishing, the great outdoors and loved his faith and his Church Family at The Baptist Temple of Dundee.
Memorial services will be announced at a later time.

You were/are the best Grandfather and always was there for not only us but everyone. Your were the most caring, loving, smartest, man I have ever knew. Oh yeah and don't let me forget the most Impatient grouch...hehehe. but that's where I get it from. You were always guiding us the right way wether u thought we were listening or not every thing u said u might notnthibk I was listening but it all today still sticks woth me and also i know you Loved Jesus the most without a doubt in my mind you. You and Mema have always been the rock to our family and Been the most caring couple in this whole entire world. I'm lost knowing u are not here anymore or getting ur calls everyday. U were special to many people. Hope to see u in heaven one Day n I love knowing u are finally not in pain no more but sad I can't just pick up phone b call u like I want or see ur handsome face. I love miss you more and more than u know.
