Mary just shared this link with us.

We so enjoyed getting to know Bob and Connie on several trips to NOLA and James Ellery on a trip to NYC. We pray that God will heal the hurting hearts and bring a peace that passes all understanding.

IT IS MAY 23, 2015. I am Bobby's wife. I am just now being able to read these tributes to my wonderful husband, Bob Gay. They are all true: he was funny and loving and honest and fair and handsome and, like Marietta Tumulty said, "Mr. Cool". He had genuine integrity. I loved him more then anything, I always have and I always will. My granddaughter Olivia said we helped and loved him on this finial journey and what a privilege it was. My children were there every step of the way and he literally died in our arms. My daughter, Mary lovingly cared for him as only a nurse daughter could. LIke she said he told us "We will hook up again someday" and what a reunion that will be. He told me he would never leave me and would always be with me. I believe him. He said just to rub my gold beatle ring and I would know he was there. I told my grand daughter that the beatle would soon be a doodlebug, I have rubbed it so much. Go well, my Boo, "until we hook up again". Your loving wife, Connie (Coo)

I only knew Bob professionally as an insurance customer but he always greatly impressed me with his integrity and honesty. You could always trust what he said whether the news was good or bad. I was fortunate to have known him--he was a very good man. My sympathies go to his wife and family.

Connie, Mary, James,
My sincerest prayers of sympathy and support for you on Bob's passing. I regret that I could not be with you on this difficult day, but I was with, and Bob, in my prayers. May God grant you all strength and comfort, and may St. Patrick be the one to welcome him home! I hope I can see you soon. All my love and blessings, Bobby

Blessings and prayers my dear friend Connie to you and all of your family.May you always have all those wonderful memories forever.
I have known Bobby Gay for so very long
His sister Jean was in My class at Holy Rosary. I would ride my bike to visit her sometimes And one day her older brother appeared all dressed in golfer pants and swinging a golf club I dont think I had ever seen such attire in my life and as he always was he was charming but Oh those pants
and I remember him at Loyola
dont think we ever discussed the "golf" attire But Im sure he would have enjoyed that story Too. Thinking of you both
