Judy Melancon Vicknair, a native and resident of Lutcher, was born on July 19, 1938 and passed away at Ormond Nursing Home on Saturday, March 3, 2018. She is survived by her children: Joey "Truck" Vicknair and companion Christine Vicknair; Henry "Hank" Vicknair and wife Jennifer and Laurie Vicknair; brothers, Gerald Melancon, Charlie Melancon, and Linden Melancon, Jr.; grandchildren: Joshua Vicknair, Cherish Vicknair, Brittany Vicknair, Cheyenne Triche, Hartley Walker, Paige Greiner, and Trevor Greiner; and great-grandchildren: Joshua Matthew Vicknair, Jr., Jaxon Vicknair, Tatum Daughdrill, Ethan Greiner, Nathan Walker, and Dale Shadell as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry "Token" Vicknair, Jr., parents, Linden Melancon and Mildred Cedotal Melancon, and daughter, Trisha Vicknair. She is a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, LA, a former member of the 3 Ells and the Catholic Daughters. She was also a former Manager of Gramercy Federal Credit Union, Ochsner Credit Union and Faustina Credit Union. In her retirement she was a greeter and cashier at Tezcuco Plantation. A visitation in her honor will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, LA from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial.
