Jean Eiko Garner, 88, of Radcliff, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, at her home with her loved ones by her side.
She was born Sept. 13, 1930, in Tokyo, Japan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, retired First Sgt. Ralph James Garner; and her beloved son, Dr. Harold Garner.
Left to cherish her memory is a son, David Garner and his wife, Lynn; a daughter, Jean Garner; and three grandchildren, Scott Garner, Melissa Garner and Christopher Garner.
The funeral for Mrs. Garner is at noon Wednesday, Jan. 23, in the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove. Burial follows in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.

Condolences to the family of Jean. I always thought so much of her. We worked together at the NCO/Officers Club on Ft. Knox for a number of years. A wonderful person, may she Rest In Peace.
