All of the above are true. Best coach I ever had(baseball and basketball) and he was a good person willing to share your life and and concerns. He was a perfectionist, even to sweeping the carpet of his Chevy Impala. He taught a lot of us how to type too. Many of my best memories of my life are due to his encouragement. He cared enough to take time to teach us to respect other people. One of us threw a banana peel from the bus in Shreveport. He stopped the bus, apologized to the driver of the car, then proceded to give us an important life lesson that I shall always remember right there on Youree Dr. He was much more than a coach, a mentor, a teacher, an example of what a Christian Educator should be. We are blessed to have known him.

So sorry to hear about Larry's passing, we always thought a lot of him and his whole family.

Even though we hadn't seen him in many years, we'll always remember him as an outstanding and caring guy.

It should be a great comfort to his family to know that he is now in a far better place and in the presence of the Lord and with loved ones.

I moved to Monroe in 1955. So lucky to have moved into a house only a couple of blocks from Terry and Larry's house. I've never forgotten the friendship the Reeves family gave to us. Some of my best memories include the cork ball games we had in the back yard. I thought Mrs Reeves or Mr J.D. would stop us because we were tearing up the grass. Larry will be missed by all who knew him. my deepest condolences to family.

I was Coach Reeve's basketball manager my freshman year at Neville. Such a wonderful person and he had such a positive influence on me and so many other kids. He will be truly missed. Buddy Terzia
