I will miss you greatly Johnny. Your kindness and humor always brightened my day. Rest in peace my friend.

Johnny and I became friends around 1970 when we both worked at The Monroe News-Star. The friendship continued for quite a few years after that (I had moved to San Francisco in late 1976 and Johnny decided to move there also sometime in mid 1977. We lost track after I moved to the East Bay for about 5 years, and he ended up moving to Oklahoma, then returning back home to Mangham. Happily, we reconnected on Facebook about 7 years ago and caught up where we had left off. Really going to miss him.......

Johnny and I were friends back in the early seventies. He was so much fun to be around, and he was always the life of the party. I visited with him when he lived in San Francisco, but lost track of him when he returned to Louisiana. I know his family will miss him dearly.
