He touched a lot of lives by doing great things and talking about God. Thank you Mark, for all that you did for my husband and I. Your work is perfection and I am grateful to have known you just the short amount of time I did. May God be with your family during this difficult time, and I know you are healed from the bonds of this earthly hold. RIP Mark, we will take it from here. God Bless.

Hello everyone, I am Mark's son Joshua. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all of the goodness that you poured into my father throughout his life. I am very appreciative for it. He was a very kind man, and an amazing warrior of God. Thank you to all who were able to attend the funeral service, or the visitation service. He was always able to make me laugh, as well as many others. I'm also very thankful that I was able to spend most of my life with him, and enjoy many laughs, hugs, joyous moments, and even tears. We did everything together. He loved to cook to. He taught me many things about cooking that I will never forget. He also loved to be very organized and clean in life. He taught me to mow yards to. I loved how he would mow over a yard twice sometimes, just to make sure that he did it right, he wanted everything to be done correctly, or not done at all. My father always told me," Whatever you do, do it with all your heart as unto the Lord" -Colossians 3:23 He also always prophesied the verse Joshua 1: 08-09 over my life, which says "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. He always believed that I was worth more than other people. Another amazing thing about Mark, is that he always had a heart for the broken, because he had been broken. He experienced lots of trauma in his life, and suffered lots of pain, but through everything, he always loved his family, and cared for my brother and I. The one thing I lived most about my dad, was that he was always such a warrior for Jesus. And He would always say "What's up Cat-Daddy?!" He would be real happy, and he would run straight out of a room, and Yell "Ka-chow!" He poured the love of Jesus into so many people, and shared his testimony even in the worst conditions. He was never ashamed of Christ, and he always proclaimed his name wherever he was. "Nothing can separate you from the love of God" Mark would say. If you were upset, he was there for you. I guess that if there was one thing that I should tell you, it would be that addiction is real, and it can and will destroy your life if you let it. Like I said, he was an amazing man of God, but he just let addiction take over his life. I really hope, and believe that my dad made the best of his last few days on this earth. For those who maybe didn't know, he passed away in his sleep. I prayed so much that my dad would come back to the Lord, so that way I could see him in heaven one day. I honestly believed that he spent his last few days on this earth trying his best to serve God in everything that he did. We found sticky notes with bible verses on them all around his shed where he was staying. Lying dead on his couch with his bible. I am confident that he came back to the Lord, during his last days. And I am very grateful that he passed away in an easy death. How amazing to just lay down, and go to sleep. I believe that God called him home, to be with him. And now, he is in heaven, waiting for all family and friends to join him. Thank you all for all of your support, and I love you all, and so does Mark!! Romans 8: 35-39
