My prayers and sympathy to the family of Lon. Owen R. Boyle was my husband and remember going out to visit at his parents in Hamlet. May he rest in peace. Hugs to all the family. Marie Boyle McCauley

So sorry to hear of Lon's passing especially so soon after Shirley passed away. They are together again! Don't recall ever meeting him but may have when I was young. My dad, Owen, and Lon were first cousins.
Hugs to all of you!

I am so sorry to learn of Lon's passing. Life was difficult for Lon recently but am comforted to know he is now in heaven with his Shirley. I will miss seeing Lon & Shirley at the grocery store when we would catch up a bit before I'd give him a hard time about shopping on "old people's day" or him parking in the handicapped space when I "knew" there was nothing wrong with him. I wasn't going to stop giving him the business until I got a grin from him. I have many memories of Lon and all of them are good. He lived a good life and his family is a reflection of that. RIP Uncle Lon, you'll be missed but never forgotten.
