Ronald L. Tubbs of Clearfield passed away on Jan. 18, 2021 at Penn Highlands Dubois.

He was born in Clearfield on March 18, 1936, a son of the late Elwood and Beatrice (Thurston) Tubbs.

On Nov. 8, 1958 he wed Faye (McCombs) Tubbs, who survives.

Also surviving are his children, Brenda Brownson (Larry), Wayne Tubbs (Diane), and Judy Pinson. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Steven Peters (Brenda), Tiffany Nichols, Brandon Nichols; and four great-grandchildren, Maya, Matthew, Brady, and Connor.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eldon DeRoy Tubbs and Leslie Tubbs.

Ron was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force.

He worked in masonry construction in the Clearfield area. He loved his family, the outdoors, and hunting and fishing.

There will be no visitation.

Interment will be at Bloomington Cemetery.

A private service will be held at a later date.
