Lauralyn MELDRUM Obituary
February 12, 1957 to February 24, 2017
It is with the heaviest heart imaginable that I have to announce the passing of my best friend in the world, Lauralyn. She was a spectacular person who always lived her life on her own terms. She would say if I died tomorrow I have done everything I ever wanted with no regrets. Making it to her 60th birthday was a huge accomplishment for her and it was a great day. She had more good qualities than anyone you would ever meet. She was gregarious, empathetic, sympathetic, smart, adventurous, beautiful, outgoing, artistic, funny, loving and much more. She was also an incredible conversationalist and it's our long talks that I will miss the most. Lauralyn left behind many people who cared about her, most notably her sister, Vivian, her brother, Michael, her nephew, Jeremy, her niece, Vanessa, and her best friend, Gwenn. She would want us to celebrate her life and not grieve for her. The angels have taken her now and I will see her on the other side. There is a celebration of life on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunrise Point Clubhouse, 16275 15th Ave., Surrey. Everyone is welcome.
