1973 - 2021
It is with profound sadness that we announce the the sudden passing of our son, Ronnie, at his residence on June 6, at the age of 48.
He is survived by his parents, Edna and Ron Roy (Joseph Sr.), brothers Wayne Roy, and David Roy (Rebekah),
and his three children, Joseph Michael Roy (Angela Wood), Sarah Anne Roy (Joey), and Patrick Ronnie Roy.
Three grandchildren, Lincoln, Rowan and Leo.
Also his extra "bros", Mike Perry, Dion Joseph, and Cleveland.
His nieces Kathryn Beacroft-Roy, Olivia Roy, and nephew, Levi Roy.
And countless cousins including Tracey Connolly, of Saint John, N.B. plus greater than 100 others.
Ronnie was a man with a heart of gold and would give the clothes off his back to anyone in more need than himself. There were no limits to his generosity.
He was a wonderful father to his children and wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephew.
And a wonderful friend to his so, so many friends that have remained loving and supportive to him throughout his lifetime. He will be missed so terribly by all those that loved him so dearly and not a single day will go by that we won't all be thinking of him as we remember the good days.
Special thanks to the Telemetry Unit at Welland Hospital during all of his stays there over the past 3-4 months for the amazing care they provided to him whilst in there, as his heart condition was declining. Ronnie certainly appreciated their loving compassion, especially "M J", "Emily" and the female nurse that he dubbed a "Gentle Giant".
And special thanks to Niagara Falls ICU during his stays there as well. He was extremely!! Grateful for the level of compassionate care that he received in both hospitals.
And his father and I were sooo appreciative of them keeping us informed of his daily progress. There are not enough kind words to express our gratitude..
There will be a service for our son in the near future and all will be informed as to when and where.

I just want to say that I'm so sorry for your loss. I was shocked when I found out the news I moved away from Crystal Beach a while ago but he had stayed with me for quite a few months. I hope you all stay safe and well. My prayers and my heart go out to you.
