With broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Peter James Faught on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in his 39th year. Beloved son of Jean and James and dear stepson to Beverley. Cherished brother of Michael (Amelia), Kelly, Julie (Adam), John Paul (Emilie) and Natalie (Adam) and adored uncle to many nieces and nephews. Peter was compassionate to many causes and known by everyone that he touched for his heart of gold. Gone but never forgotten:
"But I'll see you in the sky above
In the tall grass in the ones I love
You're gonna make me lonesome when you go"
A private family ceremony has taken place. A celebration of Peter's life will take place in the summer of 2021. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Peter's name to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society https://www.irsss.ca/donate

It was shattering to learn of the death of dear Pete Faught. I can remember him running around the house as a boy when I would visit Jules. Occasionally we'd talk about comic books or sci-fi. As Pete grew older, I remember sweet times with the family singing around the campfire, and getting to see him at all the Faught family gatherings and we'd easily laugh together and dance. He always treated me with kindness and respect. I'll always treasure his tender heart and sweet soul and am grateful he was in my life.

We did not know Peter very well but the few times we were together, we were met by a warm, charming “gentle “ young man who obviously cared deeply for his family. We know he will be missed by all of you but your strong family ties and fond memories of Peter will help at this very sad time.
Thinking of you all,

Sorry to hear this sad news. I have many great childhood memories of Peter playing over at our house, growing up with my brother, Dave. Many hours logged playing LEGO and mixed-up multi-sports with made-up rules... I know his loss will be felt by many.
