RICHARD CULLIS Founder and President of Dial One Wolfedale Electric, passed away on September 10, 2010. Richard was a Master Electrician with a passion for this trade. He was born and raised in Scotland, and immigrated to Canada in 1971. In 1973, Richard co-founded Wolfedale Electric and in 1982 became the company's sole owner. Today, Dial One Wolfedale Electric is an industry-leading commercial electrical contractor. Richard's passion for the electrical industry goes unmatched. He is the former Chairman of the Board for the Ontario Electrical Leagues and was very prominent in industry associations and governmental affairs relating to the electrical trade. Richard will be remembered with fondness and respect by all who knew him. He was a red-haired Scotsman who was larger than life and a force to be reckoned with! He treated his employees like family and believed he has a responsibility to ensure that they had steady work and a career with a future. An avid golfer, Richard also loved his motorcycle, fishing and spending time on his boat. Richard leaves behind his wife Alice and was the proud father of two daughters, Jackie (Ken) Strachan and Michelle (Nicholas) Ponory. Friends and relatives will be received at Meadowvale Visitation Centre, 7732 Mavis Rd., Brampton (north of Hwy. 407 at Ray Lawson Blvd.), 905-451-4358, on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 5-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 5-9 p.m. If desired, donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
