To the Penny Family, my sincere deepest sympathy to all of you. I am saddened to hear of Shannons passing. Shannon was a very dear friend of mine and we spent alot of our childhood together. I lived across the street from her for many years. Shannon was a few years older than me and I always looked up to her and thought she was always the coolest. I remember when shannon would pick me up in her car and we would drive around pickerin together. Shannon took the time to teach me how to drive standard which not only took alot of patience but she had to give me the answers to my homework so that my parents would allow me to go out. Shannon would always invite me to babysit the neighbourhood kids with her and that would mean I was allowed to stay out past my curfew. I also remember when she would invite me, my brother and our neighbors Matthew and Courtney to take a walk to dairy queen to get a treat. Shannon was such a kind and caring person always looking out for others, there will be many in our neighbourhood that will greatly miss her.

Shannon, you will never be forgotten, always and forever in my heart. You touched my heart and helped me through my tough times.

Now you have Angel Wings, you are free to fly as you please. I am glad that you are no longer in pain but you will be sorely missed.

Rest in peace.
